This footage is from the Elkview West Virginia Mothman sighting which occured on July 03, 2008 on Patterson Fork Rd near Price on County Route 39. This footage has been slowed down 90% from the original video.

According to the statements given by the witnesses they say that while driving southbound they saw a big black bird land on a tree on the side of the road, they pulled over and tried to get it on video, but when camara man zoomed in, he was shocked to see it hanging from the tree like a giant bat, immidiately they ran to the car and drove off. All the witnesses stated that they were very familiar with the mothman stories circulating around town.
